i have 1 tattoo on my left arm put there before i had major surgery on my lymph nodes...i like well done tatts but not when they cover the body!!

I like tattoos that mean something.....


I currently have two.... and they mean something special to me... that is why I designed them the way they are....

having said that though, i have been impressed by some of the amazing artwork done on some of my fellow "motorcycle enthusiasts"

but i think it's the fact that they are permanent that puts me off

I have one and would like another when I can decide what it will be. A strategically placed meaningful tattoo is best I think.

I have a friend who had a hena semi permenant tattoo for his wedding... lasted a few months...

Out of my 6, only 2 are hidden. In winter all are hidden but in summer, 4 are visible.




Which begs the question to you all once raised ages ago. Would you not be friends with someone just because they have a tattoo?

many if not most of my "motorcycle enthusiast" (think about it) friends have tattoos and that's their choice, therefore i don't think i have a prejudice against people with tatts. as blonde said they don't make the person, but they do tell a story about that person. on a personal level they're not for me, to the point that i told my son when he said he wanted a tatt and his eyebrow pierced, that if he did i'd be dissapointed in him. i explained the reasons why and they were.......
he's only 17 and although it's the rage with all his mates now, he may regret it later
and... why be a sheep that follows what everyone else does, do it only when you know it's something you will be comfortable with for the rest of your life, and when you know it's a decision you've made by yourself and not by your peers.
he chose to wait and i'm proud of him for that. i certainly wish i'd heeded the same advice before i got addicted to cigarettes.
