i get cold sores when i stress but i got my first one from kissing friends on new years eve many years ago.

they are gross but you get use to them after awhile.

my daughter got them from me as she drank out of my cup when i had 1 (she knew not to use my cup).

we just ice it as soon as we get one and its usually gone in a couple of days without getting a scab.

its a bugger if its not caught quick enough

cold sores are herpes, and 80% of people have it,
taking a good zinc supplement keeps viruses under
some control, so much for that one

Well I wouldn't want to kiss one, but wouldn't vomit at the site of one either, poor people that do suffer from cold sores. Its not as if they are HIV positive or something uh oh! rolling eyes

Dito SXC.. people can't help getting them. I don't get coldsores but know people who do and I feel sorry for them when they have one cos they must be uncomfortable. I certainly wouldn't kiss someone if they had one tho... not wanting to catch onewink

My first wife used to get cold sores, never bothered me much at all. Have not seen one since we split in the early 80s.
