How come when Jesus was resurrected he only went to join his father in Heaven? Is the Father the only important person in a childs life. If this is so why don't the courts see it that way. After all we swear on a Bible in court don't we?
Is the Bible trying to tell us that the only Happy Marriages are with Defacto fathers. (I.E. Joseph:As God was the Father) Hmmmm for that part: Were Joseph and Mary actually married?. I can't quite remember that fact. Very thought provoking if they weren't.
Another Random thought just hit me. Was Mary satisfying two Guy's at the same time. Both Joseph and God. The Bible doesn't say. But the skeptic could make gold from that thought.
What about the "Father, Son, HolyGhost" syndrone. Where's the Female input. Are they saying that the female thought process is irrelavant?
OK OK My religious studies are very superficial. But there does seem to be minimal reference to Mary the Mother (And for that, was she the real mother or just a vessel to carry the child into the world) (Just a reference there to Genetic engineering and invetro insemination)To me the bible seems to treat Mary just as some sort of birthing vessel and that is about the only reference she gets out of the Bible.
Now my brain is really Meandering: Ok if Mary wasn't the Mother who was. How do we know God ain't queer. And with his awesome Power How do we know he didn't create Jesus with another Man and then still Holding a grudge against Eve and the garden of Eden incident thought hell lets punish the decendants of eve some more. Here womankind give birth to this child of mine that i created with my Man friend here. And from here on in all my Man Friends shall have the power to punish Woman for driving them from the garden of eden by causing them to become with child. And at the End of Childbirth the Woman will be able to remember that bliss that was Eden and cry for the garden and utopia they lost.
On that Random thought though. That would mean those woman that can not bear children are truely blessed for they have had the curse of god to bear children removed from them.
I mean there is no reason for Mary in the Bible except as someone who had to go through the pain of child birth. Jesus could just as easily of imaccuately appeared in a Stable in a crowded little town with a Star overhead. And He could of still been visited by three wise men who followed this star bearing gifts. And had the rest of the bible could of follow on from there. Gods reasoning is impressively twisted.
Are woman that irrelavant in the eyes of religion.
Guys perhaps that is where we have gone wrong. Perhaps if we followed the bible more religiously we would have riches peace and harmony. All we have to do is reduce the female back to the role of House servant and Baby recepticle.
After all look at the rich and famous in Hollywood. Maids in the kitchen and ???????? in the Bedrroom. And then if they get married Disharmony and vast loss's of wealth. (Its just a thought from stories read)
