Phillip Island is that the same Island from Bryce Courtney's Book.

( You know I only read a couple of months ago and thooughly enjoyed it but for the life of me i can't remember the title. I can remember the story though.)

At anyrate Riva would accept you in to the social circle willingly. (at least once).laugh

I don't know which book you are talking about, I've not read one based here. Phillip Island is one of Victoria's main tourist destinations, its kind of a weird place to live. Most of the time it is really quiet, but come school holidays it is a mad house. The sleepy little main town gets totally packed with holiday makers, which makes it hard to even do your grocery shopping.

I'll get back to you. I have to go to the Library. I have read the book in the last three months and for the life of me can't recall the title.

The Place sounds a bit like Taupo here in NZ. A typical Town yet come Ski Season or School Holidays the Place nearly doubles in size.

But it helps to appreciate the Quiet Times. What made you chose to leave the mainland. Health, Occupation or personal preference?.

It's pretty funny to read "mailand" in regards to Phillip Island. I guess it is true, but its not really thought of that way. Its connected to the mainland by a bridge, so its not like you have to fly or take a boat to get here. The reason I moved here is a long story, but personal preference would be most accurate.

Ah we learn something new each day. I could of used the Internet so not to look like such a goof. But there you go. Laziness in the Male gene rears it head yet again.

But I now assume Phillip Island is like Long Island in New York. But at least we are talking.

I thought you were on an Island. And contact with the Mainland was either by boat or Plane. laugh

But Phillip Island is a part of Greater Melbourne is that correct. Or is it a stand alone that just happens to be near Melbourne.
