sure women can be happy.They are such wonderful little creatures.I learned alot from my daughters who i love much and see they are happy all the time.At least till some guy makes them mad.

Do you know it has taken me a long time to realise happiness lies within my own heart/mind. Strange then that I still have conflict's and so have'nt found it.

Enjoy the conflicts! If we can give each other room to breathe, and agree at times to disagree, conflict can be a thought-provoking and energizing event. A woman is to be treated with respect and so to are men. A woman and a man breath the same air and have the same soul. Niether can be called "them" we all should be thought of as persons not groups.

That's almost exactly what I was going to say. Well met, comrade. Women and men alike are persons before they are people. It's not a "them" situation, it's a "her" or "him" situation. And no, you can't make yourself responsible for another person's happiness, nor should a person expect that another person should be responsible for their happiness. Here's the sticky part, though - you can be responsible for making another person unhappy.

I don't think we can take the responsiblity for the happyness of others but we can contribute to there happyness. And then be responsible for our contrabution.
I must say that, at times others have made me happy when I don't think I could have on my own. But I couldn't burdon then with being responsible. Good point, STICKY it is.

It may be naive of me to think this, but I believe that if you are with a truly compatible person, you will be happy, be you man or woman. As for conflicts, you won't experience many if the person you are with is truly compatible, and they will be constructive ones then. Is that naive of me?

I take it you have kept up with the thread on do you have the answer's ? My unhappinesss lies in there, with society as it stand's today. I do try not to have a negative attitude toward's society but it is very difficult. All I see around me at the moment is lot's of dysfuntionality's.

Smack head's, crime related with the drug's they take.

Booze and likewise crime connected to it.

Selfishness of people when never ceases to amaze me, they see another hurt on the floor and can you believe they actually walk past and leave them there. I have actually asked people why they do this when I have seen it, would you believe the answer again lie's with dysfunctionality's. Compensation culture !!!

Children attempting to bring kid's of there own up, when they don't know enough about themselves first ?(teenage pregnancies are so sad, I feel for these girl's).

Generally in society all I see is the greed for wealth......Money/car's/holiday's that all important status, which just mean's your conforming to what society predicts you should do.

On the very rare occasion I see real love in family's (unconditional) my boss Neville and his wife and daughter's are such a lovely family, they are the prime example and thier love for one another really is unconditional. Unlike many today who say they have it but don't.
